City as a Platform wins WSA Portugal 2025 and moves to the global stage as one of the most innovative digital solutions.
We’re thrilled to share some big news that marks a major achievement not just for City as a Platform, but for Focus BC as a whole.
Our product City as a Platform has been selected as the most innovative digital solution in Portugal in the Government & Citizen Engagement category by WSA Portugal 2025, an initiative coordinated by APDC, a national entity that promotes the development of digital innovation in Portugal.
This recognition means we will proudly represent Portugal on the global stage, competing with solutions from more than 180 countries at the World Summit Awards.
A Global Recognition for Digital Innovation
The World Summit Awards (WSA) is one of the world’s leading competitions for digital innovation with social impact.
Promoted by the United Nations and aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, the awards highlight technology that improves lives, reduces the digital divide and makes innovation more accessible.
Since 2003, WSA has recognized solutions that drive real change. Being part of this global ecosystem is a significant milestone for Focus BC.
Each year, APDC selects eight national winners across categories such as Health, Education, Sustainability, Urbanization and Government Engagement. Being selected in the Government & Citizen Engagement category is a proud moment for our team.
