Focus BC will be at Rock in Rio Lisboa 2026

We’re excited to share that Focus BC will be part of Rock in Rio Lisboa 2026, one of the biggest music festivals in Portugal.

This year, the Cidade do Rock will also become a space to explore the future of urban innovation through the Smart City of Rock, an initiative that brings together MEO Empresas, Rock in Rio Lisboa, Câmara Municipal de Lisboa and several technology partners.

And we’re proud to be one of them.

City as a Platform at the Smart City of Rock

A festival the size of Rock in Rio Lisboa is almost like a city for a few days. There are people arriving, moving, waiting, working, coordinating, responding, and making decisions in real time. 

Behind every great visitor experience, there is a huge operational effort happening in the background. At the Smart City of Rock, we will present City as a Platform, our urban management platform. It integrates data across the territory, connects departments and field operations, and gives operational teams and decision-makers the same live view when it matters.

In such a dynamic environment, this means looking at the Cidade do Rock as more than a venue. It is a living example of how technology can support teams on the ground, improve coordination, and bring different layers of information together in one place.

For Focus BC, being part of this initiative is a chance to show how location intelligence can be useful in very real, very busy contexts. From cities to major events, the challenge is often the same: understanding what is happening, where it is happening, what needs attention next, and how to create better experiences for citizens, visitors, and teams on the ground.
