City as a Platform is integrated into B-Smart Famalicão, our smart city concept. Bringing all municipal activities into a single platform is essential for adoption and to unlock its full potential. Improving how we respond to citizens is the main objective of B-Smart Famalicão.
Overview
Working in close partnership with Vila Nova de Famalicão City Council, Focus BC acted as both integrator and software provider, delivering its City as a Platform solution powered by Google Maps and Google Cloud.
Through a consultative approach, Focus BC supported the municipality in building a unified smart city ecosystem under the B-Smart Famalicão program.
The Challenge
As part of its smart city strategy, the municipality launched the B-Smart Famalicão program to create a greener, more inclusive, and innovative city.
