City as a Platform is integrated in B-Smart Famalicão, our smart city concept. The integration of all levels of municipal activity in one single place is essential to the adoption of a platform and to potentiate B-Smart Famalicão.

We had our own booth in the area dedicated to Portugal, which is a collaboration between NOVA IMS and AICEP. Many Portuguese municipalities and companies were in this area and City as a Platform, our urban intelligence platform, was showcased there. Our platform gives cities control and visualization of their territories and public services.

Our Managing Partner, Vasco Pinheiro, gave a presentation about City as a Platform at Smart Portugal and he also participated in a panel named "Portugal Makes Sense". The panel was moderated by Miguel Neto, Deed of NOVA IMS - Information Management School. Vasco was accompanied by:

  • Paulo Simões, Executive Secretary of OESTE CIM

  • Luís Matoso Martinho, Executive Secretary of CIM Viseu, Dão e Lafões

  • Jorge Patricio, B2B Commercial Manager at Altice

  • Ana Pereira, Dissemination Manager at Ubiwhere

  • Catarina Selada - Head of Policy at CEiiA
